|
|
Hello
I have a fairly capable PC (HP Xw8200 Two 3.2ghz Xeon processors , 4 gb RAM, Maudio Audiophile 2496 PCI Card Win7 32bit)
When I play a midi file with about 6 instruments (presumably this is a VST Soundfont player in Mixcraft trial) I get occasional stuttering and clicks and pops. (Using Delta ASIO driver)
The same midi file in Cubase SX3 with VST soundfont player and instruments plays totally smooothly.
Any way to fix this in Micraft? |

Hi,
Go into your Sound Device preferences, click on the "Open Mixer" option, and try increasing your latency or buffer settings.

|

OK Here is how this issue is looking. I have now purchased the 60 day license and registered. I have asio4all and maudio 2496 pci installed so in preferences sound I have both available
When recording I can use either driver and everything works fine.
I then do a mixdown and wmp opens up - but won't playback until I close mixcraft - is there a setting in mixcraft to allow sharing?
If I then close wmp , playing in mixcraft becomes very stuttered and distorted, until I reload the driver in preferences sound device by selecting another one and then reselecting the asio driver.
Hope to get this sorted out. Thanks
