I am using the "plain paper DVD case (US)" template. In the middle of the template are the two vertical lines for the spine. I have to edit the template for printing purposes from it's original width 274mm to 267mm. When I do this the template on the screen seems to get shortened on one side only, meaning the two spine lines are not centered anymore. Is there a way this can be fixed?

Hi,

It's centered when I try it. Are you using version 3.32? You may just need to print on legal sized paper.

I am using v3.32. Don't get me wrong, it prints out fine, it's just on the monitor where the lines are off center.

1920x1080, 24" monitor. The lines are not off center in the default setting for the template, they are off center AFTER I change the width from the default 274mm to 267mm.

Somehow posting pics here didn't work, so I'll attach some urls. The first one shows the label at default 274mm. The black vertical lines are dead center, right behind the red frame.

This is after editing the label to 267mm. The red frame is in the center of the label, the black lines are not. I can move the red frame of course. Mostly I end up not using it anyway, but the black lines are always on the screen, SUPPOSEDLY showing center for the spine. I hope this helps.

Hi,

Okay, I see what you're saying now -- but when I print it out, the spine is centered, so it's just a screen problem, correct?

correct.
I did finally find a workaround though. I now select the template "plain paper SLIM case (US)" which happens to be 267.5mm and adjust the spine width to 14mm instead of adjusting the label width on the other label from 274mm to 267mm.
As long as it works I'm happy Smile
