how to record good vocals using mixcraft....suggest ways

i have doin wrk on my song and i realised tht i was nt able to get a gud vocal quality with the simple microphone using the serial mic port the one besides the headphone hole...so is thr any way tht i can get fine quality for the vocals...plz suggest some good mics and cheaps ones plzz...or some software or smthng...its really importnt

Go to musiciansfriend.com and look up a Sure sm58
You can plug it into the microphone jack on the computer if you get an adapter to go from the XLR mic cord to the 1/8 inch jack on the computer.
